It is Friday night at 9pm and DH and I just got back from a fun night out....meaning we went to the grocery store! :) I actually prefer to go at odd times b/c I hate the crowded aisles and the families on the weekends.
While in the store I had my first really bad hot flash. Within two minutes I started burning up and striping off my coat and sweater....and really wanted to keep going until there was only skin exposed:) I even stuck my face under the mist that was keep the produce wet. Now that we are home I am sitting on the couch in my bra, and if I didn't think our blinds were kinda see-through I might be fully au natural. I would open a window (its about 10 degrees out right now) but the dogs would be freezing.
As much as these side effects suck, I am so happy that I have them.* Yes, you read that correctly. To me it means that the meds are working, and that all of this might just work.
*not so sure DH would agree...I think he is very much ready for my mood to stabilize:)

Hot flashes are crazy, aren't they!? I only had a few of them while on Clomid and just at night. I'm really getting excited for you!! Keep up all the good work!

:) i don't remember hot flashes. not till the progesterone. i wake up sweating now!
Once hubby and I were in Nova Scotia and we went on a whale watching trip and some older ladies were on the boat with us. It was really cold out and when we took off one of the older ladies said, "Thank God, Hot flashes be gone!" I thought it was so funny at the time. Now I understand.
Oh, wonderful...something to look forward to. (and I always go to the store on 'off' hours...can't stand crowds either).
LOL my DH is dreading fertility drugs. I don't think he will want to live with me when they start... hehehe Hope this is the only month you'll have to take them!!! Good luck!!!
