The bloat

I am beyond bloated. It makes me look like I am about 5 months pregnant. And to confess, I like the way it looks:) Sometimes I stick it out farther and look at it in the mirror and pretend their is a baby in there. Then I realize that I am crazy, suck in the gut, and walk away from the mirror.

Okay, so I like the way it looks when I am at home, and can be comfy and not care. But when I am at work I am constantly paranoid that someone will ask if I am pg. Or that there will be talk about how I am looking a bit rotund. Or, that while I am at the grocery store I will run into someone and they will ask if I am pg. Is paranoia a side effect of Lupron? :)

In a co-irker update, there has apparently been a lot of gossip about whether or not I am doing any 'new treatments'. I haven't really confirmed IVF with anyone besides a few colleagues and my boss (though I really didn't want to tell her). I just don't get why people are so nosy? Or, how they have so little in their life to worry about that they can spend all their time worrying about others? Believe me, at this point my colleagues could grow a third arm and I wouldn't notice....but then again, if one even looked the tiniest bit pg I would be all on that:)

Ah.. the bloat. I looked like I was 4 months pregnant when I was only 7 wks pregnant last december! And I did the same thing too... mused myself thinking it was because of the baby. It was fun while it lasted. And hey... if we can find humor in our bloated bods... who is there to stop us? :)

As soon as I told someone Jay and I were TTC, every time after that if I craved something or just felt bloated, the "are you PG?" question would arise. Nosy buggers!

Oh, I am very familiar with the bloat. Not fun at all! Don't get me wrong- I will welcome a pregnancy bloat with open arms. Somehow, a medicine bloat isn't quite as cute. :)
