6 months

E&H turned six months old yesterday. We have their 6 mo appointment with the pedi next week, and I am anxious to see how much they've grown. Sorry this post is more for me to keep track of where the babies are:)

They are in 3-6 mo sizes, though starting to grow out of a few things. I am assuming they will be in them for another month or so. They were in 0-3 until 4.5 months. Both of them are smiling, laughing, giggling, babbling and quite playful. E prefers the jumperoo and H is a champ in the exersaucer, though is getting good at jumping in the jumperoo. Both of them have lost interest in the bouncy seats, unless its time to eat:)

We gave E carrots for the first time yesterday, and he LOVED them. Srsly ate the entire jar. His poop reflected that this morning, it was a gross orange color. H really liked squash and peas, though E was not really interested in either. He loves cereal though, H not so much. They are still getting about 25 oz of formula a day, which is killing our budget:)

They are both sleeping pretty well, they go down between 7-8pm. Lately E has been having some screaming fits right before bed. I can tell he is just so darn tired but he fights it so much. He still sleeps with his lovey and often sucks on it:) H has been a bit better about going down at night, but she likes to stay up later and will only fall asleep on my chest, or in DH's arms. We are going to need to work on that. She has to have her paci to sleep. E will sleep through the night, usually getting up around 5:30 and playing/talking/pooping until around 6 when he lets you know to come get him. H, on the other hand, gets up around 1:30-2am and wants to snuggle. Most nights she ends up in bed with me in the guest room. We usually get up around 7am.

So, that is where our life is right now. Babies playing, eating and sleeping:) I wouldn't have it any other way.
