3 months old!

The babies are three months old today. Can you believe it? Already?

So, at 3 months here is where they are development wise:

Hazel-
smiles when you make her chin wiggle
will sometimes smile at you when you talk to her, but she has to be in a good mood:)
holds her head up when on her belly, on your shoulder
has recently learned to arch her back while she is being held up (almost dropped her today!)
plants her feet down when on her belly and inches forward
reaches for toys
will bat at a toy hanging above her
does 'push-ups' on her belly
follows objects and sounds
is starting to 'talk' when you are talking to her or when she is excited

Elijah-
smiles all the time
is starting to giggle a little bit
gets really excited about food, the dogs, and toys
holds his head up when on his belly, on your shoulder
has rolled from his belly to his back
reaches for toys
follows objects and sounds
is starting to 'talk' when you are talking to him or when he is excited

I know that this is not where a typical 3 month old should be, but I am trying hard not to compare. They are preemies and it will take time for them to meet their milestones and that is okay:)
