Baby update and shower #2

First off, Happy Hanukkah! We had Hanukkah celebrations and Greg's parent's house yesterday. I ate to many Latkes and they were too oniony, yay for heartburn! :) The highlight of the day was when I realized that at Hanukkah next year we will have 10 month old babies. Wow. I haven't really thought of them as beings outside of my body, but all the sudden they were 10 months old in my mind.

After the Hanukkah party we headed over for babies shower #2. We have such great friends and, in turn, had a great time. Good food, really cute cakes (I'll posts pics when I upload them) and fun gifts. I spent last night reading the dozen or so children's books we got (thanks, M!) and starting to organize more stuff in the nursery. My goal is to have the nursery all set by the new year -so 31 weeks. Hopefully these two do not decide to show up before then.

Which brings us to the babies update. We had our u/s with the perinatologist today and he gave both babies an 'A+'! Baby Boy was 2 lbs 9 oz and Baby Girl was 2 lbs 11 oz, once again she is bigger than her brother! The peri kept saying how great both of them looked, such good growth, nice lung function, etc. He said we should make it to our goal:) That is the first time I have heard that in months. It was also a relief since I met the day vomiting again. But, as long as the babies are growing, I can deal with all the pg symptoms until Feb 18th. I might complain a bit, have a meltdown or two, but it will be worth it:)

Hi Andrea,
I'm glad that you had a good weekend...It's amazing to think that your goal is just over two months away (I am due 19 Feb). The babies sound like they are doing really well.

Glad to hear the babies are doing so good - as these last weeks tick away, I keep coming back to your blog to check in and see how you all are doing! You better not up and disappear and leave us all hanging! I want to know how these little angels are doing :)

I'm so glad the babies are doing well! Keep it up you two! :)
Sorry about the puking, that really stinks! As long as the babies stay in, I'm sure it's worth it!

Pleased that the two are doing well!! Tell them to hang in there a few more months. Hope all remains well and the puking stops
