Greg got a job!!!! It is an attorney position, is not too far from home, and it pays. Those are the positives of it:) It is not the kind of law he wants to do, doesn't have any client contact or court time, and it pays like shit, but its a job.
After him being unemployed since August we have really been stressing out about the 'what-ifs' of our financial situation. We were talking about selling our house or about him just staying home when the babies came if he hadn't found anything. But now we need to make some other decisions. Like does this job pay enough for me to go part-time at work? If I can, if my boss approves it. I wouldn't be able to quit my job completely b/c of the benefits I get, but honestly, paying for daycare for two is nearly as much as I make, and is a few hundred bucks worth it to work fulltime? I personally don't think so.
Thankfully we have gotten so many babies things for free, and when you combine that with what we will probably get from the two showers we are having, we should be pretty set. So no worries there.
Just makes me wonder how anyone does it, keeps their head above water financially with multiples. We will figure it out, I am sure. Hopefully we can keep our house, but if not, the time with our kids will matter more anyway.

That's great! I hope your husband's new job proves to be just what your family needs. Praying for you!
So glad to hear!!!!
That is great news. I hope you get to keep your house but I think you have a wonderful attitude about everything. Your priorites are right where they should be! Your babies and family are the most important things! A house is just wood and stucco!
Great to hear about your husband's new job! I think every little bit of added financial security counts, especially when you're having multiples! My brother-in-law has been unemployed for 2 years now. And he has a wife and a 4 year-old kid dependent on him. There are many jobs now available in his industry, but he's picky and choosy, not willing to work long hours for little pay. Instead he has borrowed money from his father-in-law to buy a new car, a new laptop, and god knows what else! I have lost all respect for him.
In the meantime, hang in there and do the best you can! I'm sure things will get better for you when the economy recovers. Congrats again on your husband's new job!
Congrats on the job.
Our situation will be exactly the same as far as daycare/benefits thing goes. Only probably less munchkin.
Great news! Don't stress about the house, as far as kids are concerned, home is where mommy and daddy are! If you're able to swing staying at home, it's so worth it :)
Yay! Congrats on the new job! I hope it does work out for you to work part-time. I'm hoping for the same thing eventually!
