9 week survey

Since I've never done one of these, and I would like to keep this info for myself, here it goes.

How far along?
9 weeks
Total Weight Gain? -16 lbs
Maternity Clothes? For weeks 4-7 yes, but it was a bloat bump, not an actual bump. But now with the weight loss I can fit into pants that haven't fit in months.
Stretch Marks? nope, not yet.
Sleep? Meh. I do sleep a lot, like 15 hrs a day. But I toss and turn, and often get up to puke.
Best Moment this week? not puking on Sunday? :)
Food Cravings? Nothing, nothing at all.
Sex? don't know yet.
Labor Signs? nope
Belly Button? totally normal
What I miss the most? being able to eat food, any kind of food. Oh, and not throwing-up
What am I looking forward to the most? entering my second trimester and hopefully being done with this sickness
Milestones? ??entering the 3rd month?

I did finally call our nurse today and left a message about meds. I am currently wearing SeaBands and while they make my stomach less upset, they don't stop the actual vomiting. I wish I could just take off work until I felt better.

Congratulations on your wonderful pregnancy. I hope the nausea settles down soon. Anyway, I've recently started reading your blog and thought I'd leave you an award over on my blog. I look forward to continue reading about your pregnancy updates.

Have you tried candied ginger or ginger tea? On occasion when I am feeling nauseous, those seem to help. Also, SweetMint gum from Orbitz gum is helpful too.

glad to hear that you called someone about meds. :) you need to gain a lot of weight in the first 20 wks or so....you have a lot of ground to make up :) and believe me...i waited WAY too long to call and ask for something to help. it's night and day. i was always worried about it, but then my RE told me that she had to take something every.single.day for the first 25 days in order to function normally in the world :( if she would do it, it has to be okay, right?

thinking lots about you!

I'm sorry (but not?) that you are feeling so sick. Hope it tapers off soon.

Thanks for the update!

You poor thing! I can't believe you've lost 16 pounds already! I hope you get feeling better soon. I thought the seabands helped as well. Didn't stop me from puking but helped with the nauseous feeling somewhat. Have you tried unisom? That was the biggest help for me.

oh my what a rough road! I'm glad you made the call to get some needed help! I've heard the meds do wonders.
I hope you feel better soon!

1/2 a unisom and 1/2 a vitamin B6 was what stopped the vomiting for me! I took it the whole way through my pregnancy and it worked wonders. I was in the same situation I had lost 16 pounds and only gained 18 back!! Not ideal at all!! Hopefully it ends soon :) Good luck and congratulations!!

Yay for 9 weeks! Boo for puking!
Hang in there - it's almost over!

Maybe "sex" wasn't asking the gender of the baby, but if you're having any...? Probably not, with all the puking! :) I hope it stops soon so you can enjoy yourself!

I too hope you quit puking soon!

I hope you feel better soon! I've heard the m/s is so much harder with twins. I hope the doctor is able to give you something to help make it easier!!
