Honest Scrap

Melissa at All Things Griffin has given me the Honest Scrap award:) I am honored that she thought of me.

Here are the Honest Scrap stipulations:

1. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design
2. Show the 7 winners' names and links on your blog and leave a comment informing them that they have won the "Honest Scrap Award"
3. List at least 10 honest things about yourself.

Here are the blogs that I would like to award. I am totally going against my IF blog here and nominating blogs outside of our IF community that I frequent:

1. Conceive This!
2. Swimming Against the Tide
3. Little Bluebirds Fly
4. Barren is the New Black
5. Rain Drop Glimpse
6. Dispatches from the Island
7. Geninne

Okay, now 7 honest things:

1. I hate doing the dishes. My entire house could be clean and the kitchen sink will probably still be overflowing.
2. We never put the new toilet paper roll on the holder:) We just sit it on the windowsill next to the toilet unless people are coming over.
3. I make up lullabys for my chihuahuas. It is pretty much the same tune, but they each have their own lyrics. Like Fiona's is that she will dream of treatsies and licking feetsies. And Duncan's is that he will dream of treatsies and licking feces b/c he likes to eat poop:) lol (we have been trying to break that habit for years....I don't think it will happen)
4. Sometimes I worry that I will never define myself as anything but infertile.
5. I have 3 pee sticks in my house and I may start peeing on them as soon as Sunday:) I don't think I will be able to resist.
6. Even though I am a vegetarian I sometimes I think fried chicken smells good..
7. I am addicted to shopping at thrift stores. I come home with bags of stuff that sits in my closet.

Uh... I sooo hear you on #4. I worry that I would never be able to get over this current roller-coaster ride and that it will shape my life in ways I wouldn't want it to. Ah... how nice would it be to forget about all this and go back to leading a normal life once we have kids.

so just a quick note on number 3...if you feed him or the other dogs (depending on whose he is eating) bananas they wont want to eat poop anymore...:)
