Vent

AF is officially 3 days late. Now don't get too excited, there has been no POAS, it is the evil Lupron that is causing this. Our nurse said this is normal, and they don't get worried until you are 10 days late. But can I just vent for a minute about this?

So, when rushing into IVF this spring there were two major things at work I had to schedule around, both conferences that I am either completely organizing, or that I am required to be at. I did my best at working around them and thought we were set on the current schedule. But, then AF decides to go MIA. If she isn't here in the next day or so I think I might be completely screwed timing wise. I might have to go tail-between-legs and ask the boss lady to find someone to cover for me.

At any normal job that would be okay. But not here. I will NEVER hear the end of it. If I were sick and puking, or have broken a bone, I would come in and just do my job. But this -IVF, having a baby- is the most important thing in my life and I am not going to let these people screw with that. But damn, the next few weeks are gonna suck the life out of me.
