Updates

We finally heard from the vet about Fiona's blood work. Good news is that she doesn't have cancer. What a relief! Bad news is that they still don't know what it is. They think it might be an infection around her heart. A side-effect of such an infection would be high fevers every few days, so we are supposed to take her temp daily and see what happens. I hope we figure this all out soon and that she feels better.

Yesterday was our 3rd anniversary. We went to a fancy restaurant and had yummy food. As a gift, DH arranged a psychic reading for me with a woman in our area. I have never done this before, but have always wanted to. I go next Thursday, the day before we find out if this IUI worked. I'm gonna try my hardest not to mention TTTC and see if she picks up on any of it. I am excited:)

Our kitchen is finally done, now I just have to find the camera cord so I can upload some pics. It looks nice, and I have actually cooked every night this week (besides fancy dinner night)...I made eggplant Parmesan, veggie thanksgiving food (mashed potatoes, rolls and veggies), a rustic cheery apple tart, homemade pizza....now I am hungry.

Anyway, I hope everyone out there has had a good week:) Have a fun weekend!

I hope your puppy starts feeling better. It's so hard when pets get sick because it is SO expensive. I'm trying to wrap my mind around the fact that we will need to drop a ton of money next week to get Lily spayed.

I can't wait to see pics of your new kitchen!

I clicked through to your blog from another blog. Love your title! It says exactly what we are going through without actually "saying" it. Smart! I just finished catching up on all your posts. I have to say, I was amazed to see that we have a lot of things in common -- quitting grad school because of TTC, the prodding family, HSG, and the IUIs. We are termed "unexplained" and have since moved on the IVF but I am glad to have found someone with similar experiences as me. :)

Anyways, wish you a very Happy Anniversary and all the best for your IUI! Can't wait to hear abt the pyschic!
