Beta #3

I had another blood draw this morning for beta #3, hopefully the numbers still look good.

I also asked about the PIO shots....we have tried everything and it still seems like I am having nerve damage from the shots. Greg is practically hitting my hip bone with the shot, but still getting some kind of nerve:( So, we had the suppository discussion and I got sent home with samples. They will let me know today whether it is okay to do those every other day and do the PIO shot on alternating days. They usually like to keep you on the shots until you reach week 12, and I will totally do it if necessary, but it is getting really bad:(

Today I also scheduled our first ultrasound. It will be next week Tuesday. Because it is early they said there won't be much to see, no heartbeat, etc. but they want to see how many of our embies implanted. I am anxiously awaiting that news.....

As far as symptoms go I am happily sick. I think if I wasn't I would be nervous. I feel like I have to puke most of the morning and then again right before bed. From 2-6pm I am extraordinarily tired and then from 6 until bedtime I have the worst stabbing gas pains. Oh, and then there is the diarrhea every morning:) I never thought I would be so happy feeling like shit.

I'm a little late on this but congratulations a million times over! This is such exciting and wonderful news. I can't wait to hear how many babies are in there! I know it's excruciating waiting for your ultrasound and honestly, the wait never really gets any easier! As for when the pregnancy will start to feel "real" for you, I am just now at 20 weeks and am finally getting to the point where I actually believe I am going to have a baby. I think once you've been through IF, it takes a little longer to believe. Best of luck to you, and I can't wait to hear about your u/s!

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I'm hoping all the best for you. I'm a little bit behind you - only one positive beta so far. I too had a terrible time with the PIO shots. I found savior with a 1" needle, numbing cream and a moist heating pad. I use it for an hour after every shot. I skipped one day and it went back to being in so much pain. So no more skipping. Good luck with everything!
