It looks like no ER on Thursday...but maybe Friday or Saturday. I think they want some of the smaller follies to catch up to the big ones. I have to go in tomorrow again for b/w & u/s. My poor vein (notice I don't say veins, its b/c they always do the same one in the same spot) is so bruised and achy I am not sure how many more blood draws it can handle before it explodes.
I posted after our IVF#1 BFFN that I was thinking about anti-depressants and was going to make an appointment with a psychiatrist to discuss. Well the appointment was today and I have a script in my purse just in case this cycle does not work. I feel better even knowing that I have something that will help the sadness. Right now I don't feel like I need them, but I know how awful it was last time.
At the appointment the stupid quack told me that we should just take a cruise b/c apparently everyone she knows got knocked-up while on a cruise. Srsly, that was the advice from a medical professional. Ugh, I cannot escape ignorance.
Here I sit, a script in hand and 15 follies cooking inside of me. I hope the script goes in the trash and the follies get nice and big and turn into perfect embryos that will snuggle in tightly for 9 entire months. A girl can hope.

Me too! Me too! I have the one magical vein. When it collapses with over use I am screwed. They even tried getting blood from near my elbow once. No dice.
Not that I think ladies with good veins have it easy while they cycle...there is still so much other shit to deal with....but imagine going in for a blood draw without fear of them having to dig around to find your one good one....must be heaven.

First off I cant believe the doctor said that - they should know better!!!
Second..I have some advice....I usually only have blood taken from my right arm and it was getting very sore and there was no blood coming out..hahah
I have a very small vein ont he left and they are able to get blood out of it if they use a PEDIATRIC needle...its much smaller and can get in those little veins...ask them to try a pediatric needle and try your opposite arm..its certainly worth a shot.
Wow really? Doesn't she know how stupid and insensitive that is?????????? I agree with Melissa G - stupid fertiles!
On a happier note, I am doing my second IVF right now!!! It looks like you are a week ahead of me!!
My veins are also yucky. The nurse stuck me 4 times in one day because they kept rolling around!!
Oh well it will all be worth it!!!!!
