I am pregnant!!!! IVF#2 was a success:)

I am sorry for keeping this secret for so long, but I started testing positive on HPTs on Monday....the line kept getting darker and the day of my first beta I saw that lovely word:

The first beta came back at 137 on Wednesday and 379 yesterday. Our IVF nurse has told us that those numbers are quite high and we should prepare ourselves for more than one. OMG! Our first ultrasound will be around July 9th. I think I may burst before then.

It has been such an emotion filled week. I can't even describe how I am feeling. Happy. Excited. Scared. Over the moon. Anxious. Nauseous. Gassy:) All week we tried keeping our expectations at bay, but with each test we let the excitement out a little bit.

After the second high beta we let our families know, everyone is so excited, and I am surprised at how many tears of joy there were:) We really struggled as to whether we would tell anyone so soon, but I figured that hey, this is as pregnant as I have ever been and I am going to enjoy it. If, god forbid, anything should happen, at least there was joy for awhile. And for me, a secret would not have been as much fun:) We won't tell the entire world until the 2nd trimester, so no congrats on Facebook, please:)

I keep wondering how long it will take to sink in. I think we are both still in so much shock. Good, happy shock.
