I have 15 !?! follies growing. That is already 50% more than last time (we got 10 then). They are between 7-14mm at this point, so they have some time to grow still.
I guess the evil Menopur is to thank for the difference. Even though I still hate it and the migraines its been giving me, I am glad that we added it this time around. And after last night's failure at injecting it (read -sobbing in burning pain) we have found that numbing the entire area with ice for a good 5 mins really helps.
Not much else to update with. I go back on Monday for another monitoring appointment and we are still planning for a retrieval on Friday. While I have been really trying to keep my expectations at bay the news of the follies today made me hopeful. I really hope this is it.

Wonderful! Yep...I think Menopur was a good thing for me as well...you know, on that end. :-) Glad it's going better...sorry about the migraines though.
Woohooo!!! 15 is amazing! I am so excited for you! I've been doing the ice thing before and after my Lovenox too and it really helps with the burning. I was wondering if I should ice with PIO too?!

Ladies, there is also an over the counter numbing cream - I don't remember the name - that works wonders and is safe for use. Ask the pharmacist, my nurse recommended it.
