New RE appointment tomorrow!

I am getting nervous about our appointment with the new RE tomorrow...I have fleeting thoughts that he will tell us that we are hopeless, or, that contrary to what we have heard, his prices are through the roof and we are screwed. Or, which is more realistic, that we will need to do all the testing again, which will cost thousands we don't have.

I did call today to check on whether our medical records had arrived, and they did. The office staff was so nice and helpful, even apologizing that they had to put me on hold. Such night and day from the last place. When I called them they would always answer "reproductive specialists, hold", no 'can you hold?' no 'sorry, hold please' just a click and then awful muzak. I hope their good phone etiquette is an indicator of what they will be like in person.

Hopefully we won't get bad news and everything will go smoothly b/c after I have to go back to work. And its not just back to a typical day at work, but one where the queen co-irker will have her kids in the office. ALL DAY LONG. Get a baby-sitter for pete's sake! A university office is not a place for small kids. And its not like we are slow, the semester starts Monday and we are swamped.

Wish us luck tomorrow! Send 'no more testing!' thoughts our way if you get a chance:)

Sending you all the 'no more testing' thoughts that I can muster! The phone etiquette DOES sound good. I really hope the REs and the RNs follow their lead too! All the very best!

I hope that you won't need any more tests.
Hopefully the Doctor will be even better than the receptionist!

Good luck!!! I really hope you don't have to do the testing. If he tries to push it, try and negotiate. Sometimes it works. I got a free ultrasound once!
