Apparently the election has resulted in a baby boom, or so the news is saying. What I wouldn't give for it to be that easy for us. To simply be happy b/c of the election results, having a little bedroom fun, and then BOOM! we are pg. I hate that it is so easy for some people. I truly believe that we are going to appreciate our children more b/c of the struggles we are going through.
On a brighter note, we finally got a washing machine today. Back in June we had a flood in our basement and our washing and dryer were toast. We have been taking our laundry to the laundromat for the past few months. While it wasn't that bad, with the cold weather starting I am very happy that we don't have to schlep to the laundromat anymore!

You know, I often think abt that --- what kind of mothers would IVFers make when compared with the uber fertile bunch? I agree... we will definitely appreciate our children more but will we also spoil them more? I don't know. Hmmm... something to ponder abt!

I used to have to use a laundromat for years so I understand about the simple luxury of washing machine in the house!
the news always has something crazy like that to report. how can they possibly *know* that? it's just been two weeks. is everyone already shouting about the fact that they are pregnant?
i wonder about reporting sometimes.
i think that IFers appreciate EVERYTHING more....not having to inject your belly, being able to work out whenever you want and not worry about popping something or decreasing chances, etc, etc, etc.

So wait...there's a baby boom. Does that mean 9 months ago people were "going at it"?? That would mean it was really more about March Madness or maybe chocolate Easter bunnies.
I'm secretly wishing our totally ancient washer/dryer will go kaput. I'm jealous of your new one!
