WOW!

We had our 2nd IUI today and I am super hopeful b/c DH's numbers were AWESOME! Just a quick refresher as to what they were when we began this....9 million, 9% motility and 0% morphology....today it was 53 million, 49% motility, and while they don't do morph counts on IUI the last SA was at 3%. The RE even said we can consider ourselves only 'slight' MFI now:)

The actual IUI sucked, a lot. It took like 5 tries to get the cervix in the correct spot, and then another 10 tries to get the catheter in. I think I was sore anyway from the HSG on Monday, so yea, ouch.

We even canceled our IVF consult appointment, which would have been next week. The RE agreed that with the current numbers we should put that conversation off for awhile. I guess this is the most hopeful I've been in over a year that maybe we might actually get pregnant, and while it might not be on our own, it might be with just IUI.

Let the 2 week wait begin! I think I need to find things to distract myself with, as these next 14 days are going to be difficult.
